Woo! Short week--here we go:
1. Your number 1 priority is getting that first version of your poem done. Share it with at least 3 other people. Get some feedback--do you have cliches? Is the purpose clear? How can you make stronger word choices?
2. Show me your first version if it's done today and I'll check you off. I do NOT want copies of these--I want a second version next week. When do you think your second version could be ready? Post a suggestion here.
3. Remember--James Hersch is coming on Monday. If you want to write a song with him, start thinking about a topic and a tune. If you are going to do the lyrics assignment, pick a song and get working. EVERYONE should be ready to go on Monday if you are doing that assignment.
4. You can always start thinking about the next poem, "What I needed to say."
5. Write! Focus! Comment! Love!

i horribly hate the packers but the voices tell me someone on the colts will be hurt and the packers will win by 6
oh and november 17th is a good day to turn in our poems...

the titans will not lose this week they play crappy kansas city
kansas city will win, they will make a small come back and titans wont stay undefeated....
Maybe someone should write a poem about how awesome the Packers are, no matter whether they win or lose...
